Ambassador Daniel Taub’s Massive Contribution towards the Growth of UK-Israeli Ties

The former Israeli ambassador to the UK, Mr. Daniel Taub, has played a vital role in fostering not only diplomatic and trading ties but also cultural and academic ties between the UK and Israel over the last four years.

Records filed at the Israeli Embassy in the United Kingdom indicates that trade between the two countries in 2017 is double that of 2013.

These records were recently confirmed by Mr. Sajid Javid, the British Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, who described the current trading UK-Israeli links as golden.

The Secretary estimated the annual bilateral trade between the two countries as of today to be in the blink of hitting $7 billion.

Taub’s Contribution

During the British Israeli Business Awards that was held three months ago, it was revealed that the number of Israeli-owned businesses that are currently operating in the United Kingdom today is more than 300.

The event was attended by Ambassador Daniel Taub and Secretary Sajid Javid as well as representatives from the Israel-Britain Chamber of Commerce.

Although the Israel-Britain Chamber of Commerce had a different value of the countries’ annual bilateral trade from that of Mr. Said Javid, it agreed to the fact that the value was in excess of $5.5 billion.

Daniel Taub has made a great contribution to his motherland since he became an ambassador in 2011. Taub was born, raised, and schooled in the United Kingdom.

He then moved to his motherland in 1989 aged 27. Daniel Taub has an undying passion towards creating a conducive bilateral partnership between Israel and the rest of the world. During the Northern Ireland crisis of 2011, Taub was involved in peace negotiations alongside a Palestinian diplomat.

Adopt a Boycott of Israel

Adopt a boycott of Israel that was spearheaded by college students in Britain was a threat to links between Israel and Britain. The movement was fueled by student leadership and was not auguring well with campus administrators.

Daniel Taub is on record for having intervened in the stalemate and in a way calmed the unnecessary standoff. In 2012, he urged college administrators to allow freedom of speech to be expressed freely by all students, regardless of whether they supported the movement or not.

With every student given the freedom to express their views, adopt a boycott of Israel was resolved within a couple of years after Taub’s intervention. Bradford was made an Israel-free zone in 2014.

Big Gap Left

Daniel Taub left a big gap to be filled in the Israeli Embassy in the United Kingdom. His predecessor has his job clearly cut out.

Visit London With Vlogger Kim Dao

Samuel Johnson once said, “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford.” Well, vlogger Kim Dao learned first hand what Johnson was talking about on her trip to the British capital. Believe it or not, Kim Dao wakes up around 5:30AM. If you’ve watched any of Kim Dao’s vlogs before, you know she’s not an early riser. Kim says the only reasons she woke up so early were jet lag and the huge time difference between England and South Korea.

Kim Dao is staying at Beckii’s house. In case you haven’t heard already, Beckii has her own popular YouTube channel simply called Beckii.

In the next shot, Kim Dao is at King’s Cross station with her good friend Beckii. Kim Dao sees the famous Platform 9 ¾, but the line is ridiculously long to get a picture by it. Kim says she’ll just wait to see this Harry Potter-themed area on another day.

Beckii takes Kim Dao to the popular restaurant Caravan in King’s Cross for lunch. Kim Dao orders a small margherita pizza.

Next, Kim Dao takes a ride to the Harry Potter Studios with her friends Emily and Ping. However, since Kim Dao is going to film so much at the studios, she says she will put all of that footage in another vlog. Learn more: http://inspirery.com/kim-dao/

Cameron Clokie from Canada Gives a New Direction to the Regenerative Medicine Solutions

Cameron Clokie, a Toronto-based maxillofacial cum oral surgeon and scientist, gives a new direction to the regenerative medicine solutions. He is also an entrepreneur and founded Induce Biologics Inc., a leading regenerative medicine firm that is providing innovative musculoskeletal reconstruction solutions.

Dr. Clokie made a revolution in regenerative medicine when he started offering regenerative treatment solutions for broken bones, more than a decade back. It was in 2003, Dr. Clokie started experimenting with the new treatment method on eight patients who were facing skeletal jaw damages.

He used a protein named bone morphogenetic protein to seduce stem cells to grow into a bone tissue to effectively reset the jaw bone, similar to how bones grow in a new born baby.

Bloomberg has it that Dr. Clokie performed the entire treatment process at the Mount Sinai Hospital and Toronto General Hospital. The treatment procedure followed until those days was a long, painful process that includes collecting muscle, bone, and fat from one place and fill it where the bone is missing.

Also, the old treatment process took significant time of up to 19-hour surgery while the treatment method from Dr. Clokie only took less than five hours.

The regenerative treatment option also brought down the expenses associated with the treatment of broken bones. With more than a decade of significant results, the treatment option developed by Dr. Clokie is changing the lives of patients.
